One aspect of photography I love is that with a click of the shutter button, a moment in time is frozen. After the click, time rushes on. Memories fade. But in that image, time stops.

This fills me with wonder and gratitude! In those fragile moments, I get to see and enjoy a flash of beauty that no other breathing person may witness. A ray of light accenting a simple texture. A leaf showing the colors of the season. A drop of water reflecting a simple scene. And I not only experience it. I am able to capture it. A fleeting moment of goodness to be enjoyed for years to come.
