This is my oldest daughter. She works in a fast-paced, high-stress restaurant. They refuse to provide bathroom breaks or lunch breaks. The day before this photo, her supervisor called her in on her day off, where she worked a double-shift without any breaks. Then she woke up, dressed beautifully and went to church. I loved the fall colors she was wearing and how she did her hair. She agreed to spend about 15 minutes with me for photos. Then she was off to another shift.
I’m so proud of her. She works her butt off, is treated poorly by both customers and supervisors, but keeps doing it so she can launch her ceramics business. She embodies true grace under fire.
