One of things I like about photography is the physicality of creating an image. This may sound strange since I’m creating a digital image. But for me, part of creating the image is to immerse myself in the context of that image. Whether it’s crawling in the grass to create a macro image or walking around the park to find a composition, I love that physical part of photography.

A couple of years ago, I created this video called “The Process.” It stars my daughter and tries to communicate this aspect of photography that I love.
