
There’s something about macro photography that fascinates me. It’s probably because it’s a perspective of which most of us simply aren’t aware in our daily activities.
When I do macro photography, I prefer to find subjects outside and rely on natural light. For me, it’s about capturing what’s out there around us for others to see.
I like the shooting through the grass so the subject is partially obscured. It feels like a foreign landscape and it communicates mystery and drama.
Plus it’s fun to crawl around in the grass!
